It involves subjecting the safe to a specialized fire furnace reaching 927°C for one hour. The internal temperature must remain below 177°C for 60 minutes. UL stands for Underwriters Laboratories.
60 minutes light protection against fire, smoke, and extinguishing water due to special fillings and seals. "60 P" indicates that the fire protection applies to paper.
It involves subjecting the safe to the same procedure as for data carriers. The temperature reaches 927°C in the specialized fire furnace, and the internal temperature must remain below 177°C for one hour.
In this test, the temperature reaches 1090°C for 60 minutes, allowing a maximum temperature increase of 150°C and maintaining a maximum of 85% relative humidity. Subsequently, the safe is dropped from a height of 9.5 meters onto a gravel bed (simulating a collapse of a floor) and must not open upon impact.
