DEPOSIT SAFES

A deposit / drop in safe is ideal for commercial use for storage of, e.g., deposited cash/documents for shops, offices, hotels, schools & cash handling environments. The deposit /drop in slot or drawer is accessible from the outside. Multiple people can deposit money or valuables into the safe, but the contents can only be retrieved by authorised people with ahigh security key lock. An anti-phish baffle plate is fitted inside the box to prevent small hands from reaching in, preventing unauthorised access and for extra protection of the contents. At Safes.co.uk, you will find deposit safe boxes in a wide range of sizes with various security solution options. Always check with your insurance company for a suggested cash rating. The deposit safe protects its contents from fire or water. It usually has a multilayer, fireproof casing made of steel or similar materials that meet security requirements. Deposit safes are available in different sizes, locking systems and security classes. Choose tested and certified safes. Check inside the safe for the test standards pass sticker.

It is a safe that mainly stores cash, money bombs or other important papers. In other words, a safe that serves to protect the money from unauthorized access, fire or water.

Deposit safes usually have a multilayer, fireproof casing made of steel or other similar materials and meet the security requirements.

Drop-in safes are available in different sizes, equipment, locking systems and security classes. Choose tested and certified safes. Safes that meet the test standards are marked with a sticker on the inside of the safe.

The deposit slot of the deposit safe is accessible from the outside. Valuables, cash, money bombs, etc. are conveyed inside through the slot or they are placed in a drawer that is accessible from the outside. When the drawer is opened, a locking mechanism is triggered that locks the access to the safes content and it is no longer possible to steal objects from it. If the drawer is closed, the valuables fall into the interior of the safe and can no longer be removed.

  • With slot
  • With a drawer

People can fill the safe with cash, papers, etc., but cannot remove anything.

In terms of function, these products do not differ very much; both prevent the withdrawal of cash or valuables through a locking mechanism. In the case of a drawer safe, the money is deposited in a drawer, in the case of a throw-in or deposit safe either in a drawer or in a slot. The safe is opened by an authorized person. The term night safe is also used.

The safe should be easily accessible for your employees, but of course not in the customer's field of vision so as not to arouse their curiosity.

A deposit safe can also be placed in the wall of a building. It is best to take this into account when planning a new building. Subsequent anchoring in the building is possible, but should always be carried out by a specialist.

The deposit safe will probably not be used in the private sector.

Its area of application is commercial use. These security products are popular with:

  • Shift work
  • Financial institutions
  • Gastronomy
  • Gas stations
  • Supermarkets
  • Car dealerships
  • Other studios

Our trained staff will be happy to inform you about the four different types of lock. Attention - not every safe category has all four lock variants. For the sake of completeness, they are all listed here:

  • Double-bitted key lock

For people who would rather use a key than memorize numbers. A spare key is included.

  • Mechanical combination lock

This also works relatively easily, but you have to remember the code / secret number. Batteries and electricity are not required.

  • Electronic lock

You have to remember the PIN and occasionally change the batteries. The code can be changed as often as you like. If the batteries do not work, an emergency power supply can be carried out.

  • Fingerprint

The lock of the future? Quite possible. 60 "finger prints" can be saved and the lock can be opened by touch.
