SAFES WITH 30 MINUTES FIRE PROTECTION
Only safes that have undergone specific testing procedures are allowed to be labelled as fire-resistant safes. They are identified by a certification plaque.
During these testing procedures, a distinction is made between protecting paper and data media. If the label reads "P," the 30-minute fire protection applies solely to paper. For the designation "DIS," the half-hour fire protection also includes data media such as laptops, hard drives, SD cards, among others.

Fire protection testing through UL test 30 minutes for paper involves subjecting the safe to a specialized fire furnace reaching 843°C for half an hour.
The internal temperature remains below 177°C for 30 minutes. UL stands for Underwriters Laboratories
30 minutes light protection against fire, smoke, and extinguishing water due to special fillings and seals. "30 P" indicates that the fire protection applies to paper.
It involves subjecting the safe to the same procedure as for data carriers. The temperature reaches 843°C in the specialized fire furnace, and the internal temperature must remain below 177°C for one hour.
