The question for the gun and ammunition owner about the optimal lock can only be answered individually. The following overview of the different types of lock provides general information. Furthermore, of course, each of our sales consultants will help in choosing the right ammo safe.

Four types are available:

• The double-bitted lock with two keys - it should be noted here that the keys must be protected from unauthorized access. Because of the key safekeeping clause and the high risk of key theft, insurance companies recommend a numeric or electronic lock.
• The advantage of a mechanical combination lock is that it does not require electricity or batteries. Any change in the secret numbers is possible (only the code owner can change this). No key can be lost here! Make sure that the code is not forgotten!
• The most popular lock is the electronic lock; it is a practical solution to secure the safe. Please note that the lock works with a battery and that it needs to be changed occasionally. If the battery fails, the lock can be supplied with emergency power from the outside. The PIN can be changed as often as you like.
• Fingerprint: Open only with finger pressure. No code can be forgotten here and losing the key is a thing of the past. 60 different finger print sets can be saved.
