Safes By Cash Rating
The cash rating is determined according to the safes ability to withstand attack. How a safe is designed and built affects how long it takes to get into a safe and the amount of effort and tools required to do the job! Things such as the location, door and wall thickness, barrier materials used and the class of lock fitted to the safe all contribute to the overall quality of a security safe and the cash rating that is given.
The insurers rating may work out higher or lower than the manufacturer recommended cash rating stated on the individual product.
Cash ratings are given by the manufactures as a guide and you will have to contact your insurance company to confirm the safe you have chosen is suitable.
An important point to remember is a security safe must always be installed (usually bolted into concrete) by a professional (and will have fixing holes in the base to enable this).
The Rottner MNO Safe range is perfect to be used as a Home, Office or Business Safe. It is only available as a Double Bitted Key Lock ( 2 keys provided) which is EN1 certified.
